British Airways is the official airline of the United Kingdom and holds a Type A operating License from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. BA has a total offering of over 600 destinations. BA’s international flights from South Africa offers economy, economy plus, business and first class services. BA also flies domestically within South Africa including to and from Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and most recently Nelspruit. British Airways, operated by Comair also owns the local low cost airline Kulula.
BA has a number of exclusive airport lounges located globally including Cape Town and O.R Tambo Airports. To offset its carbon emissions, BA has established ‘One Destination’ to take responsibility for its environmental impact. British Airway’s has apps available for the iPhone, Blackberry and Android phones for on-the-go travel information and services which includes access to a mobile boarding pass.
