Cape Town International Airport
Cape Town International Airport is the premier tourist destination in South Africa. Cape Town International recently won two Airport Council International Airport Service Quality global awards for the best airport in Africa and the best improved in Africa. The airport was recently renovated and expanded for the 2010 FIFA World Cup with a common arrivals and departures check-in terminal.
In addition to its large parking facility, the airport has a public MyCiTi rapid transit bus terminal which transports passengers to and from the city centre. There is hotel accommodation adjacent to the airport and the airport terminal building offers travelers all the required facilities including shops and restaurants. Cape Town International is located only 20km from the city centre.
